Sources & References Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Why We Cite Sources

Every claim in our articles links back to a primary source so you can verify it yourself. This is a core part of our E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) commitment. We do not expect readers to take our word for it — we show you where our information came from.

What We Cite

We cite sources for: (1) all pricing data (with effective date); (2) all technical specifications (battery capacity, power, torque, dimensions); (3) all safety ratings (GNCAP, BHARAT-NCAP); (4) all government regulations (emission norms, tax rates); (5) all range and fuel economy figures, distinguishing between ARAI-certified and our real-world test results; (6) any direct quotation from a manufacturer or industry spokesperson.

How We Cite

Each article ends with a 'Sources' section listing all references with: title, publishing organization, URL (or document identifier for offline sources), publication date (or access date for websites that don't display one), and source type (official, study, news, review). In-text, claims are linked inline where practical.

Source Quality Standards

We only cite sources that are: (1) publicly accessible (no paywalled primary sources — if a paywalled source is essential, we link to a free secondary source that quotes it); (2) published by an identifiable organization or named individual; (3) dated (or accessed on a stated date if undated). We do not cite: anonymous forum posts, social media posts (except when reporting on a manufacturer's own social media announcement), or content from sites that republish without attribution.

Affiliate Disclosure

AautoMobiles.in does not currently operate any affiliate marketing programs. We do not earn commissions on car purchases, insurance policies, or accessory sales that result from our articles. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and disclose affiliate relationships prominently at the top of every affected article.
